While it doesn’t have the sea stacks and tidepools of the Olympic National Park beaches further north, the Cape Disappointment / Long Beach peninsula area has an otherwise nearly perfect mix of history, wide sandy beaches, and ramshackle beach town charm, complete with not one but two lighthouses.
